Bus

Wasabus operates the bus route 13 between the city centre and the ferry terminal. Transfer traffic is not included in the Wasaline ferry service.

The Waltti mobile app (App Store/Google Play) can be used for payment. When using the app, one person can pay for the whole entourage. Contactless card payment is accepted, but only for one passenger at a time. Cash payment is accepted only in Euros.

To ferry terminal: the bus leaves 1 hour before the departure of the ferry from the city center
Route: Viaduct* (Travel centre) – Vaasanpuistikko 17 (Galleria Wasa) – Vaasanpuistikko 7 (Kaupungintalo) – Scandic Waskia/Tropiclandia – ferry terminal

From ferry terminal: the bus leaves about 10 minutes after ferry has arrived**
Route: ferry terminal – Scandic Waskia/Tropiclandia – Vaasanpuistikko 12 (Hallintotalo) – Vaasanpuistikko 18 (Kauppahalli) – Viaduct* (Travel centre)

*) The bus departs from the bridge above railway tracks. There is an elevator and stairs from the ground level up to the bus stop
**) No transfer bus to the Vaasa city centre on nights when the ferry arrives at 00:00, 00:30, 01:00 or 02:00

Train + Bus
